
Dr. Eliza Mwakasangula is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Public Service and Human Resource Management from the School of Public Administration and Management. He holds a PhD in Public Administration degree from Sokoine University of Agriculture, Master of Philosophy in Public Administration and Organization Theory degree from Bergen University- Norway and an Advanced Diploma in Public Administration (ADPA) from the former Institute of Development Management (now Mzumbe University).
Since 2002, she has been involving herself in teaching both undergraduate and post graduate students in areas related to Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Research Methods, Organization behavior, gender related subjects as well Public Policy and Governance. She has an accumulated experience in delivering and conducting consultancy in the areas mentioned above. Eliza has also been actively engaging with the community on matters related to education, development and women empowerment. Her PhD study focused on Community Participation in Addressing Secondary School Dropouts in Coast Region. She is an academic supervisor, mentor and coach in Public Administration and Public Policy Disciplines. She has attended and participated in international conferences and managed to publish 1 book chapter, 4 scientific articles in international reputable and peer reviewed journals and more than 7 scientific articles published in journals in Tanzania.
She has held different positions in both administration and Academic at the University including Head of Department of Students Welfare from 2013-2016, acted as a Director of Human Resources and Management from 2016-2017, member of Mzumbe University Campus College Boards, Secretariat Member and a Secretary of the Committee of Vice Chancellors and Principals of Public Universities in Tanzania (CVCPUT) among others, and has acted in the position of the Dean of the School from 2018 to April, 2020 and currently she is the substantive Dean of the school.

Mackfallen G. Anasel (PhD) is a Lecturer in the Department of Health Systems Management of Mzumbe University. He has more than five (5) years teaching experience in Quantitative and Qualitative research methodology in Monitoring and Evaluation, Introduction to Biostatistics; research methods in Health Systems Management and Public Policy Research and Analysis.
His research interests included Policy implementation and analysis; and Reproductive and Child Health. He holds a Bachelor of Public Administration (Health Systems Management) degree from Mzumbe University, Master of Science in Population Studies degree from Groningen University, the Netherlands and a PhD in Demography degree from Groningen University, the Netherlands.

Idda L. Swai is a lecturer and researcher in the department of Local Government Management Mzumbe University. She holds a Bachelor of Public Administration degree from Mzumbe University, a Master of Science in Urban Management and Development degree from Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands and a PhD in Public Administration degree from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. She has 12 years of teaching experience in the areas of Local Government Management, Urban Governance, Policy and Policy analysis and Social Science Research Methods, Qualitative Data analysis, Political Science and Public Administration. |
